Following the deployment of an updated backup script, an unintended behavior was identified that prevented scheduled backups from completing as expected during a limited time window. Throughout this period, all production services remained fully operational, and no service disruption was observed.
The only potential impact would have been limited to a specific request to restore data from the immediately preceding day. Backup data from earlier points in time remained available in accordance with our established retention policy.
The issue has since been resolved, and the backup process has been validated. Additional monitoring and safeguards have been put in place to further improve reliability and early detection for future executions. We continue to review this event as part of our continuous improvement process.
